Principal’s Message

Welcome to Campbellsville Elementary School, where Eagles start to SOAR!

We consider it a privilege to work with our students every day to help them reach their fullest potential. It is our belief that each and every student has a special gift that will make a positive impact in our community and the world.

All of us at Campbellsville Elementary want to make school a successful and fun experience for your child. As an educational leader, my first priority is to always do what is best for our students, followed closely by supporting our amazing staff. Our students and staff deserve to learn and work in a safe and positive environment where they are welcomed, supported, challenged, encouraged, and celebrated. I strongly believe in building positive relationships with the entire school community and fostering a climate and culture of high expectations for everyone. 

At CES, we stress the importance of attendance. Research shows a direct correlation between high achievement and high attendance rates. Please ensure that your child attends school on time every day unless they are sick. If your child is sick and cannot attend school that day, please send in a parent or doctor’s note. We begin with our “Morning Meeting” each day at 7:50 a.m. in the gym. Students must be in the building by 8:00 a.m. in order to not be counted tardy. The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. Through a grant, all of our students receive FREE breakfast and lunch daily!

For the safety of our Eagles, we ask that all transportation changes be made in writing.  If your child will be transported a different way than normal, please send a note with your child. I am aware that at times there are emergencies that come up. In that instance, please email our attendance clerk at kimberly.richerson@cville.kyschools.us with your transportation changes.
